I'm a native Texan, born in Houston, graduating from Pearland HS. I worked in residential/commercial construction under my father, a local general contractor. My corporate business career (oil field, IT) ended after winning recognized clients and sales awards. I enjoy SCUBA diving, playing golf, cooking, and fitness training. Kris attended high school in Leavenworth, KS before beginning his career in the Kansas City area, working in sales for a large phone and internet company. He attended a local community college, studying HTML coding and website design. After contributing to the growth of many companies, he decided to build his own business. After that, his journey led him to Houston where he has been ever since. Kris began working for a Boutique Brokerage in 2017 where worked his way up to Director of Operations. After helping that team grow to a top team in the area, he decided to take on a new challenge as Client Care Coordinator for a new team. However, after spending 5+ years training agents, Kris finally decided to step into the transaction side of real estate, full time, as a Realtor with The Wolf Real Estate Group. After honing his skills as an full time agent, Kris has returned back to the Simien Team, where it all began.

Jimmy Simien has been a Clear Lake resident for over 30 years. A 1988 graduate of Clear Lake High School and a 1994 graduate of the University of Houston-Clear Lake, Jimmy started his professional career in banking and corporate finance prior to his transition to real estate in 2002. In 2009 Jimmy branched out on his own and Simien Properties was born. Since that time, Jimmy has molded a boutique organization of skilled professionals equipped to handle the ever changing Houston real estate market. He really feels having a "collaborative" atmosphere has helped with their success. In 2016 Jimmy started The Simien Team, within Simien Properties. Drawn by the lure of the sea, Marks and his family relocated to Galveston in mid-2015 and now call the beautiful Texas gulf coast home. Marks brings a wealth of experience in home renovation, commercial construction, and historic restoration, valuable knowledge given the amount of older homes and historic buildings on the island.

Marks started his career managing a variety of large public assembly, multi-use and commercial properties in markets across the United States. After 25 years of operating commercial properties, 2012 found him jumping into the world of residential real estate, launching his practice in Las Vegas, Nevada. As you can imagine, real estate, like everything else in Las Vegas, was dynamic and always moving, and he quickly became a top producer within his brokerage.


When Marks is not immersed in the world of real estate, he enjoys playing golf on the island's golf courses, nurturing vibrant tropical plants and relishing the freshest local seafood. Simple pleasures include exploring the island on his golf cart, sunset gatherings with friends and quiet time on his porch enjoying the breeze off the water.
